D< How the hell do you delete entries?! ETA: Nevermind. Found it.
Woe, November Aww, Lucky died suddenly on the 22nd. It was shocking because he seemed the most healthy of the three we sent. One of the little kittens I found behind my office died yesterday, on the 23rd. We were just warming up to calling him Tom Yam ;; The other one is called Eyes Rutherford because he's white and looks a bit like he's wearing eyeshadow. We took Piggo and Jack back also yesterday. They still have a little sniffles and Jack has a lot of fleas (and perhaps a furball) so the vet gave them some antibiotics and vitamins and we'll take them back for another check up in a few days. We're taking Pretty tomorrow for a check and to HOPEFULLY be vaccinated. Wish us luck, PLEASE x_X
Commento I need some amusement. Yoinked from Lonnie and Elisa =3 Leave a comment here and...1. I'll respond with something random about you. 2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. 3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in. 4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me. 5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you. 6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of. 7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you. 8. I'll wish something good for you. 9. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. May November be over... We had to bury six cats today. Hige died sometime last night; Chibi, Max, Heika and Pork Chop died early this morning. We can't find Side Walk and I think he probably went away because he knew that the end was near. Will, who was the weakest and sickest of the lot lingered on till this evening. She was dead when my mom and I came back from sending Lucky, Jack and the two kittens to the vet. Her will to live was so very strong. I hope so very much for the six that are left.
Wake me up when November ends... This week has been completely horrible. The day after I made my last post, my mom told me over the phone when I was at work that Chiko and Chimmy didn't seem so good, so I came back at lunch and took them to the vet. We asked the vet to see if she could do anything and they were the same till the next night. Then I noticed that Chibi wasn't doing very well, so we took him to the vet for a check up. When we got there, the vet said that Chiko and Chimmy weren't doing very well, they weren't eating or drinking and were vomiting and had diarrhea. She said that there was no hope and we decided that rather than let them suffer, because they did look horrible, we asked her to put them down. It was a horrible, horrible thing that I never want to do again. But the virus didn't stop there; Speedy died this morning and Will is either dying or already gone. Hige looks really, really awful and I don't think he'll last the night. Chibi looks the same; the doctor asked to bring him back tomorrow for a check up because he had a fever and she can only give a vaccination against the virus to still healthy cats. Max is looking worse for weak and so is Heika and Side Walk and this whole thing is like something from a nightmare. The two little kittens and Pork Chop look fine so far, touch wood; Pretty, Lucky and Piggo still look okay and though we had a bit of a scare with Jack, he was eating and still looked genki, so we have high hopes. We're taking him for a check up tomorrow and to get vaccinated. It's not that I care any less for the sick cats, but even the vet said that there is nothing she can do except treat the symptoms, so it's best to keep all the healthy ones from getting sick. We'll take Jack tomorrow, and see how Chibi is doing and take him along. Piggo and Lucky will go next, same with the three kitten and we'll have to see about Pretty because she's taking some antibiotics for an infection. But truly, this is a horrible, horrible thing to happen. You can do nothing but watch them get weaker and weaker before dying. That's why we decided for Chiko and Chimmy what we did. It's still sad to remember that and to think of how this house was like before this sickness. Now there's nothing but silence and just a handful of cats. We are not giving up on the ones that remain. But just thinking about how we went from 22 cats to imagining a future with at least 6 in less than a week is just...It's beyond words. I haven't even been in the mood to do anything on the computer, but I thought it best to at least make a post dedicated to them. I miss the lost kittens. I miss Socks giving me a superior look whenever she's about to jump into my bed. I miss Chocoletto being the calm one in a frantic litter. I miss Chiko's purring when you throw but a glance in his direction and his cute, round furry little face. I miss Chimmy's struggling whenever you're trying to cuddle him and the way you only just see little white spots on the floor when he walks because the rest of him is all black. I'm going to miss the way Speedy always speeds past and the way she used to always be the first one at the feeding bowl (that's how she got her name). I'll miss always shooing Will off the bed and attempting to stop Max from jumping into my plate. I'm going to miss hearing Hige's grating meow and the way he snubs you whenever you call his name. I'm still hoping for Chibi, Heika and Side Walk though. This is such a horrific week and I can't wait for it to end sooner, eventhough it would mean... (I'm sorry to those who replied to any of my posts or replies, I'm not really in the mood to reply to anything)
Mourn again... I don't know what it is with me and cat posts. The amount of entries I have about my cats should be an indication as to just how EXCITING my life is >>;; Yeah, so I mentioned that Socks died a few days ago, and since then Chocolette had been quite reclusive. Chocolette had spent a lot of time with Socks and...well, she probably caught some kind of bug that had been going around and I guess coupled with the fact (that my mother and I like to believe) that she probably misses Socks, she died this morning. Piglet died sometime this afternoon and Hammy died yesterday. I went to the vet to get the cage we brought Socks in earlier and he said that there was some kind of cats sickness going around where they'd get really sick, vomit and stuff and die after a few says. I think Chocolette, Hammy and Piglet caught that. It very depressing. So many cats dead. I have to keep a close eye on the rest, especially after learning about some kind of cat HIV called, I think he said Sporo or something and...well, he showed me a picture and it wasn't pretty. We have to be more careful. Chiko wasn't eating earlier and it scared me, but I think it that he was bored with the Friskies canned food because he totally gobbled up the fried fish. It's a sad, sad week and not a good one for the cats...
R.I.P. Socks We'd taken Pretty and Socks to get spayed sometime lasy week, and Pretty came out okay. Socks had some sort of swelling where the stitched were but it didn't seem like it hurt her, so my mom said we'll take her to the vet on Sunday (since they close on Friday and Saturday). But this morning, my mom saw her sitting on the beam above the dining table and she was full of blood. We thought the stitches broke or something and I'd taken a stool to fetch her down, but what I saw...I can't even describe it.... I think she'd bitten through the stiches or they'd gotten caught on something and all three layers broke and...there's no other way to say this.... Her stomach was...out.... And I panicked, my mom panicked and thank goodness my dad was there to get her down. It was horrible. I'd hidden myself in my mom's room when they did that and...I can't even think about it. It was horrible! Poor Socks. The fact that she was still alive will continue to boggle my mind. Apparently my dad said that he found blood at one of the chalets downstairs and I will never understand how she did that.... We took her to the vet, but they couldn't do anything. She died sometime this afternoon. My mom wanted to bring her home to be buried but...we regret it though, my mom and I.. Stuff always happens to her. I guess the only thing that can be said was that she got pregnant to early. She wasn't even a year old when she gave birth to Chibi and Chocoletto and I guess it sort of shocked her body or something. There was always something not quite right with her; like the fact that she used to kidnap everyone elses' kittens and put them on the roof and other stuff, but still, she didn't NOT deserve this. No animal does. Goodbye, Socks, we'll miss you and we're sorry.
Sparkly New Layout! =D So I was inspired to finish it anyway Andy: Yamashita Tomohisa a.k.a. YamaPi. Actor and member of the band NewS. I've known his name for quite sometime, but I really took notice of him as Kusano Akira from Nobuta wo Produce *___* Awesome show! Bleu: Kamenashi Kazuya a.k.a. Kame. Actor extraordinaire and member of the band KAT-TUN and one of the purdiest man in the JE business *_* I only just got into the whole Jdrama thing and already Kame has stood apart from many. His acting abilities is just... *0* I want to watch Yuuki! Elisa: Matsumoto Jun a.k.a. MatsuJun. Actor (*0* so awesome) and member of the band Arashi. I'd watched Gokusen 2 first (which had Kame and Jin) and was pretty hesitant about watching the first one. But when I did, MatsuJun totally blew me away as Sawada Shin *0* He's so brilliant! <3<3<3 Haley: Kazuki Katou. Played Atobe Keigo in the Prince of Tennis musical and singer. Jun-Ki is also one of the prettiest man I've ever seen! *g* The song he sang for his recent Fan Meet, Babooh Sarang is just...*loves* Ri-chan: Akanishi Jin. Actor and member of the band KAT-TUN. Together with Kame, they are the two most popular members of the band, and are commonly refered to as Akame, they would just make such a pretty couple *g* I have to find more images of them! He also acted along side Kame in Gokusen 2. Oh, such pretty, pretty hair *W* And he has the best voice in the band. Rube: Aiba Hiroki a.k.a. Aiba-chii. Plays Shishido Ryou in the Prince of Tennis musical. In the backstage, KenKen is just such an adorkable cutie pie and funny! Plays Akutagawa Jiroh in the Prince of Tennis musical. I don't really know much about TAKUYA, except that he's so cute and was in a street dancing group sometime ago. Yaoilicious: Saitou Takumi and Kotani Yoshikazu from a scene in the yet to be released Jmovie, Boys Love *g* I so want to see that movie! It comes out this month. Someone upload it when they get the DVD, ne?! And...update on life. I went to get a trim today, just a bit and decided to make an appointment to get my hair done again tomorrow. I'm going to get the roots touched up and get red streaks =D And yesterday at work, I heard the meowing of kittens from in my office and so I, being the ever kind hearted person that I am, went to investigate. I found four kittens in the alley behind, they were wet and dirty and I think they'd fallen in the drain. I didn't know what to do, I could just leave them there (they were so small), so I asked my mom; she told me to get a box, put them in and bring them home and put them at my fathers cafe, make it seem like someone had thrown them there. It was a very emotional situation for me, as it would be for anyone. You can't imagine what it would feel like looking at those kittens. Then it started to rain and...I don't even want to remember the events of yesterday. The important thing is that they're here now. They'd kept my mom up all night with their meowing, but I suspect that it was because they were filthy and smelled and the cage smelled. I still feel a bit guilty for not changing the cages sooner. But earlier my mom and I cleaned them up a bit and put them in a new, clean and dry blanket/cage and now they're quiet. We'll wash them tomorrow with baby soap. I don't know if they'll survive, they're very small and they don't eat yet but...I'm just glad they're here. They have the most beautiful blue eyes...
R. I. P Hufflefluffers The little kitten whom I had taken in and raised like my own; whom I fed and gave milk to (not my own) and even took the fact that it peed in my hand in my stride, died sometime early this morning. I was sad and I cried yesterday because I knew it was going to happen. The baby (named prematurely: Hufflefluffers a.k.a. Fluffy or Fluffykins) was just too small and it had caught the flu as well. I held it in the palm of my hand for a long time last night, and there was a few times I thought it was just going to die right in my hand. I'm sad, but I know that things all happen for a reason. At least it died comfortable and warm and knowing that he had people who loved it so much. I also want dearly for my mom to take the females to the vet after this holiday because if it's possible, I don't want anymore small kittens in this house because I know that I'm going to fall in love with the smallest ones and it will eventually die. I lost two a long time ago and Ketot just last year and now Fluffykins. It was so very cute. Taken two days ago when I last fed it. The prominent voice is my mom and the background, who also awkwardly near the end says 'Xavier' is me.
OMG an update! I am writing this entry while in front of the fan. My eyes fixed intently on the screen of my lap top, while my arms strain to remain typing despite my small table being a few inches to high to type comfortable while sitting on the chair. The sound of the fan beside my ear is interupted only by the pitchy meowing of Piggo's four little kittens that we have unofficially adpted. What else is new? Quite a bit really, as I will get around to inform you in my annual BD entry because this family in this house (that probably oozes peculiar cat pheremones because we seen to attract a lot of strays) has gone back on their word when we said, 'Guuuuh~ 17 is ENOUGH! Just ENOUGH! There's just so many cats one person can keep before being drive completely bonkers.' Apparently, there isn't because as you may have suspected by this line, we have adopted yet ANOTHER kitten!! @_____@ It had happened like this; This morning, I got up at about 7.30 a.m., showered got dressed (as people should hope dearly) ate my breakfast and got ready to go to work. Then I got into the car, already 15 minutes late (as usual) when I realized I'd left my glasses in the room! In the distant, we (my mom and I) heard a cat meowing but tried hard to pay it no heed (at one point in time, we might actually discover the useful art of ignoring, but until then...) so anyway, I was already out of the driveway by then, waiting for my mom to come back. When she did, I looked over my shoulder to the deserted, termite ridden and weed infested building across the road in time to see a small kitten come running out of the bushes, rushed across the road onto the sidewalk, jumped over the drain and ran over, dropping into a purring mass of furballs at my mom's feet. The fate of the kitten had alread been decided at that point. We just needed my father to think that he actually had a choice in keeping the kitten. He does...a bit. So now we're stuck in a rut, wondering which name would best suit the kitten. Maharaja: which is refers to an Indian king. As the expression Maharaja lela is refered to some who literally comes, stays and conquers. Heika: Which is what you refer to an Emperor as in Japanese. or, Julius Ceasar: Because he literally came, saw and conquered. My dad agreed so readily because (at the side of him growing soft in his good old age) is because the first cat that came, saw and conquered was Thommy (whom he loved) and Hige--among others--(whom he loves very much so to). And thus, yet another entry in the great book of cats from the quaint little village in Malaysia. This is Rei-chan, signing off.
